We booked “Funky Stuff” for our wedding evening party and what a party they made it! We love soul, Motown and disco, so we knew from the onset that their repertoire would be “right up our *dancing* street”!
The dance floor was full ALL NIGHT LONG and our guests commented on how fantastic they were. They played amazing live sets and seamlessly dj’d in between - I was able to share playlists of songs we love and they happily played whatever we wanted (and requests too!). They also made sure our first dance music was in place and introduced everything for us!
From moment we booked, nothing was too much trouble - great communication and zero stress!

Frequently Asked Questions
How far does Funkystuff travel?
We are North-West based but we'll travel just about anywhere in the UK. Let us know your venue location, and we’ll itemise the travel in a quote. You might be surprised how affordable the travel cost is.
Does Funkystuff play at private residences as well as public venues?
We’re well-versed with just about every musical situation there is. We’ve toured with national artists, we’ve played black-tie corporate events, hundreds of weddings, played for luxury hotel groups, and we’re session musicians who have played on records. We’re comfortable anywhere – your private property, function venue, outdoor stage or garden ceremony.
We’re only expecting 20 guests, is it worth having live music?
We’ve played some intimate gatherings (think living room concert!) all the way up to 300+ at corporate team building events. It’s never too big or small for a party. We’re known for putting in the extra to make a fantastic party atmosphere happen and would love to do the same for your event.
How long do you play for?
The booking includes 2 x 45 minute live sets over 3 hours with the DJ in between. If you require any extra time beyond our standard 3 hours, this is easily available for £125 per hour (inclusive of VAT) – you can add extra time later if you decide you need it.
What time do we arrive at the venue?
We’ll aim to arrive approximately an hour before your guests arrive to make sure we’re set up with plenty of time to spare.
Is it possible to buy one of those snazzy jackets?
